Wall of Stability: Raising the Bar in Retaining Design

This project involves the construction of a series of massive retaining walls, and a sweeping driveway along the hillside overlooking Hayden Lake. The retaining wall is designed to stabilize the slope, prevent erosion, and create level ground for the driveway. The driveway is carefully engineered to navigate the steep terrain, providing safe and accessible access while enhancing the natural beauty of the lakeside property.

Land Optimization

Extensive clearing and reshaping of terrain to optimize future development for the site. An uneven landscape turned into a level foundation.

Slope Stabilization

The retaining walls are strategically placed to stabilize the hillside, preventing the risk of soil movement and landslides. This ensures the integrity of the slope over time, protecting both the landscape and any structures nearby.

Erosion Control

The retaining walls help manage water runoff by reducing the amount of water that would normally wash down the hillside. This minimizes soil erosion and prevents the loss of valuable land, which could otherwise lead to instability or damage to surrounding areas.

Unleashing Potential: Remarkable Site Development Projects

Showcasing Our Past Excavation Projects
Holding the Shoreline
Along this Hayden Lake waterfront property, our team handled full site work to construct a seawall to protect the shoreline, paired with a custom cabana structure built right into the retaining system. From initial excavation through final grading, the project transformed an eroding bank into a durable, permanent waterfront feature.
One Road, Five Transformations
Along a stretch of Hayden Lake Road, our team took on simultaneous site and hardscape work across five neighboring properties. What began as aging concrete block walls, overgrown slopes, and worn gravel drives was rebuilt into a cohesive run of natural stone retaining walls, new parking areas, and stabilized roadside terrain — coordinated across all five sites at once.
Camp Bay: Summit to Shoreline
On this 40-acre waterfront property, our team is executing full site development from the mountaintop down to the beach. We're cutting and building a new road to the summit, running utilities alongside it, and clearing a separate access route down to the water — connecting a future custom home site to the shoreline below.
